The sealing performance of oilfield plug-in valves under high pressure is crucial to ensure the safe and stable operation of the system. In order to maintain reliable sealing in the high-pressure and complex working environment of oilfields, oilfield plug-in valves usually adopt a series of high-tech designs and high-performance materials to meet the challenges brought by high pressure. The material selection of the valve is an important factor in ensuring sealing. The main sealing components of oilfield plug-in valves, including valve bodies, valve cores and sealing rings, are usually made of high-strength, high-pressure resistant and corrosion-resistant materials such as stainless steel, alloy steel and some special metal alloys. These materials can withstand high pressure and extreme environmental conditions to prevent structural failure or sealing leakage caused by pressure fluctuations or environmental corrosion.

Under high-pressure operating conditions, the sealing system design of the valve usually adopts multiple sealing solutions. It is a static seal, which is usually achieved by metal contact or sealing ring between the valve body and the valve core. This design can effectively prevent fluid leakage between the valve body and the valve core. In addition, dynamic sealing is also very important, especially when the valve core is constantly moving during the opening and closing process. Dynamic seals generally use materials such as elastic sealing rings and PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) sealing gaskets. These materials can not only provide excellent sealing effects, but also reduce the wear between the contact surface of the valve core and the valve seat, thereby extending the service life of the valve and maintaining good sealing.

Oilfield plug-in valves often use a two-way sealing design in high-pressure environments. This design ensures that the valve can withstand the pressure fluctuations caused by changes in the direction of the fluid, and can still maintain reliable sealing on both sides when the flow direction of the fluid is uncertain or changes. This is particularly important for oil and gas wells, because during the oil and gas collection and transportation process, the flow direction of the fluid is often unstable, and two-way sealing can provide stronger protection to ensure that there will be no leakage problems.

In order to enhance the sealing, the valve core and valve seat of the oilfield plug-in valve usually adopt high-precision processing technology. This precision processing can ensure that the contact between the valve core and the valve seat is closer, reduce the tiny gap, and effectively prevent fluid leakage. In a high-pressure environment, the precision of the valve sealing part directly determines the quality of the sealing performance, and this high-precision processing technology cannot be ignored.

Many oilfield plug-in valves also use a spring force to enhance the seal design. The spring system between the valve core and the valve seat ensures that the seal ring always maintains close contact by applying continuous pressure. This design is very suitable for operation in high-pressure environments and can effectively cope with the challenges brought by pressure fluctuations. When the valve is stressed, the spring can ensure that the sealing system always maintains a good sealing state and avoid seal failure due to pressure changes between the valve core and the valve seat.
